I have a lot of hobbies. I'd like to thank my ADHD for the hyperfixations that allowed me to take up interest in several obscure hobbies and become decent at them. Thank you for listening to my TED talk. lol
My first hobby was drawing. I've been drawing for several years, it has been a fun way for me to pass time.
Last year I took up reading as a hobby. With dyslexia being one of the major hurtles in my life, reading was never much of an option. Thankfully, I hate being bad at things. Last year I began working on improving my reading and comprehension skills. It wasn't easy, but I have come a long way.
I haven't been in the kitchen for very long, but I'd consider cooking one of my hobbies. I've been working on preserving the unique combination of cuisine that my father brought over from his country.
This year, I took up ceramics. It has quickly come to consume my life and I couldn't be happier. I love how you can spend time to make some highly tangable forms. Ceramics is an extremely unique form of art that I had yet to try. It heavily appeals to my desire for a good challenge.
